A cat stuck on top of a utility pole for days in Memphis has been rescued by a power crew.
Cat lovers took to social media asking if someone could help the cat, but pet rescues said the wire near the kitty was uninsulated and dangerous.
After several residents contacted MLGW, the power was turned off, and just after noon, some MLGW contractors in a bucket truck were able to reach the cat.
The cat was thirsty and hungry but otherwise unharmed.
MGLW said the cat was taken to a vet office to check on his health, just in case.
