A new $11.7-million village of tiny homes is being built in Milwaukee to support military veterans transitioning back into civilian life.
Led by the Veterans Community Project and supported by state and private funding, the development will include about 40 fully furnished homes on seven acres.
The site will also feature a central hub with case management, classrooms, and services to help the residents with food, emotional, and mental health needs.
Construction is already underway to provide stability, housing, and community for veterans and their families.
