TMSG: Stranger Drives Cross-Country to Reunite Boy Fighting Cancer With Dog

Eight-year-old Perryn Miller of North Carolina found out that he had a brain tumor while visiting Utah with family for the holidays. It turns out Miller has Stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme, a rare, aggressive cancer in children.

Doctors in North Carolina had told Miller's parents that he needed to get used to his prescription glasses and gave him allergy medicine for his migraines. But while he was in Utah, he got sick, ended up in the ER and then in emergency surgery for a brain tumor. Now, the family is staying in Utah to get his treatment.

Robert Reynolds saw the Miller's story on Facebook and when he saw what Perry was going through, he wanted to help. The family's German Shepherd dog, 8-month-old Frank, was still back at their home in North Carolina. So Reynolds, a former long-haul truck driver set out on the journey across the country to bring Frank to Perryn and his family.

The family does have a GoFundMe set up to help with their son's mounting medical bills.
