'Pregnancy Brain': Lauren Alaina Shares How Her Husband 'Saves The Day'

Lauren Alaina hilariously shared how her husband “saves the day for the pregnancy brain.”

The country singer-songwriter, who is pregnant with Baby No. 1, tried a few times to record a video talking about her upcoming appearance at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Alaina is part of the lineup of the concert to benefit the National Wild Turkey Federation Conservation Aid. The show takes place on Wednesday (February 12), and also includes Runaway June, LOCASH, The Castellows and other artists.

Alaina, who is celebrating her third anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member, laughed as she spoke about the upcoming show. Her husband, Cam Arnold, stepped in to help. She noted that she filmed the video last week, though she posted it on Wednesday, hours before she takes the legendary Opry stage.

Alaina included a surprise pregnancy announcement in the full circle music video for her new single, “Those Kind Of Women.” It’s the former American Idol runner-up’s first child with her husband. The pregnancy announcement arrived shortly before the parents-to-be celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Alaina and Arnold have already shared that Baby No. 1 is a girl, and Alaina shared a sweet glimpse of her daughter’s nursery.
